4-Ingredient Special Sauce
Burgers are one of those foods that are so easy to make, and so easy to fuck up. Sure, the quality of the ingredients could have an impact on the end product, but it’s the manipulation of what you have that truly makes a difference. Here, we’re working with 4 ingredients that you probably already have going onto your burgers, with the exception of white pepper. PS – get some damn white pepper. It is magical and under-utilized.
Everyone is aware of the ketchup-mayo combo to create a special sauce, but we’re gonna pump up the volume a bit. Pickle juice gives our mixture a zing and salts it at the same time. White pepper brings in a little kick that’s not as potent as black pepper, which is perfect because I’m a saucy bitch and need my burger to be borderline drowning in this condiment. And obvi the best part is that it’s amazing for dipping fries, too!
4-Ingredient Special Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
- ½ cup ketchup
- ¼ cup mayo
- 1½ Tbsp dill pickle juice
- 1 tsp yellow mustard
- ½ tsp white pepper (black will not be the same)
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a small bowl. Mix well.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour. The longer you refrigerate, the more orgasmic it will be.

- Smother your buns with it and then lather it on your burger buns. Simple yet smart.
